It's been wonderful to welcome everyone back, and today we've been honoured to hand out the hundreds of blazer badges that our students earned in the Autumn Term! A strong, healthy work ethic is central to our students' success, and we look forward to seeing this continue to grow in the months ahead. Kindest AppreciationThis fortnight's positive behaviour focus is for students to show gratitude and recognition towards others. Every lesson, we'll be looking out for the student who demonstrates the Kindest Appreciation. We think it's really important that students say thank you, for example by verbally acknowledging each other for great questions and contributions. ![]() Celebration AssembliesIn the last week of term, we held the first of three Celebration Assemblies this academic year. Some students acted as the owners of the 'means of production' (the owners of the sweet factory). The rest of the students were the working class, sorting through the sweets. The photo demonstrates the distribution of wealth from a Marxist point of view. – Ms Colley ![]() Year 8 Girls FootballOn Wednesday 7th December, the Year 8 Girls Football team took part in the prestigious EFL U13 Cup at West Bromwich Albion Football Club. They performed brilliantly and despite just missing out on a place in the next round, battled and showed real quality in how they played and conducted themselves in all four of the matches. It has been a privilege for me and Mrs Kinsella to coach the whole squad and watch them progress. Keep up the good work girls! – Mr Webster ![]() Upcoming Events
